The Blayze Coaching App Is Ready To Be Part Of Your Team!

Personal training is an incredible benefit and luxury for any young athlete. Most “elite” players at the club level did not get there by just going to practice and kicking their ball against the garage. Girls soccer has become so popular and competitive that if you want to stand out amongst the masses, having a trainer outside your club is something you’re either doing or considering. That is if you can afford it. Private soccer trainers are expensive and, depending on where you live, can add more miles to your busy travel team schedule.

So how do you get the benefits of this specialized, live training without some of the downsides?

Introducing the Blayze App

The recently launched Blayze App brings top-level coaching to the people through their thoughtfully curated system of remote coaching.

Blayze founder, Dion Moltke, is passionate about bringing expert guidance to players despite their location and economic status. He understands first-hand how this can have a huge impact on a player’s life. Coming from the world of motorsports, he was on track to become a professional racer, but he stopped just short of that. However, his best friend, who was by his side the whole time, went on to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional racer. That moment was so powerful to Dion that he asked himself the tough question, “why him, and not me?”

The answer, he came to understand, was not talent or even hard work; it was knowledge. We all know the adage “knowledge is power,” and this idea is what set the lightbulb off for Dion. It led him to create the Blaze App, where elite pro players play a part in sharing their wealth of expertise, one on one, with a young athlete.

Dion is also acutely aware of the disparity between male and female coaches in soccer. In this area, Blayze has the potential to be a real game-changer. The pros he’s attracting are top-level women who are handpicked not just for their prowess on the field but their dedication to sharing their experiences with the next generation.

“We’re all about access, affordability, and quality. In terms of coaches, girls do not have the same number of aspirational figures as boys. We want to help change that.”

As part of this ongoing commitment to access, Blayze has provided nine scholarships to our GSN ambassadors, giving them a year subscription to the app to improve their game and connect with the coaches. We also have one additional scholarship to give away! Keep an eye out on our Instagram in the coming week for more details.

Meet the pro soccer coaches

All the pros partnering with Blayze are incredibly excited to work with young talent and are trained on the best ways to utilize this special, unique technology. Here are three of the professional women’s soccer players you can train with right now on the Blayze App.

– Cassie Miller (Kansas City Current goalkeeper)

– Zoe Morse (Chicago Red Stars defender)

– Sarah Woldmoe (Chicago Red Stars midfielder)

How it works

Blayze offers a ton of flexibility on how you use it, what level you interact with your coach, and how often. For example, on a basic level, you can use Blayze to receive technique analysis from your coach — submitting video clips of you working on different skills and getting personalized feedback and tips for improvement — or game film analysis.

Looking to receive even more 1:1 feedback and partake in more individualized training? You can use Blayze+ to receive a custom weekly training plan tailored to your skill level and journey, message directly with your coach whenever and wherever, and schedule monthly check-ins with your coach.

The great part about Blayze is that all of this is right at your fingertips, no matter where you are! Each of your sessions is bite-sized and available to watch and rewatch anytime; it gives you control of your training.

If you are that player who is dedicated and practices when, as Mia Hamm coined, “nobody’s watching,” then Blayze will help take you to the next level to meet your goals. Because without that 1:1 mentor, you’ll always be missing an ingredient — feedback. An honest but helpful appraisal of how you are doing and what you can do to improve.
