Horan made headlines earlier this year when she criticized the wits of American soccer fans. Although her words were inappropriate, Horan did not shy away from sharing her honest opinion. A few weeks later, she apologized for her poorly expressed thoughts. Also, when USWNT teammate Korbin Albert displayed homophobic beliefs, Alex Morgan and Lindsey Horan expressed their disapproval of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and actions.
