Often, what makes a great player is the coaching environment they grew up in. Today we are going to show personal trainers some love and give them a shout-out! Each one teaches us something special about the game and brings out a new side of every player they train. So, without further ado, check out some of our top youth soccer trainers and coaches!
Rain Soccer Training
Located in Portland, Coach Hugo trains a variety of ages. His drills work on player awareness, which are quick, creative, and require a lot of focus. You can tell he loves what he does through the motivation he gives his players and the fun, competitive environment.
Perfect Touch Soccer
Perfect Touch Soccer offers a variety of technical trainers for any age and any skill level. They have a fantastic indoor facility and equipment that helps players focus on their accuracy and tight touch when dribbling.

Goal Soccer Training is located in Illinois and offers a few different trainers to choose from. The trainers are actively motivating their players and engaging with them with every touch of the ball. There is an additional focus on the mindset of each player. Many of their drills involve creating quick touches and using controlled speed.
MK Elite
This group of trainers specializes in tailoring drills to what each individual wants to improve. Their drills use a bunch of different equipment that are game realistic and push their players. They have trained professional players, like Sam Coffey and Olivia Moultrie, but also work with most ages.
Coach Maria
Coach Maria is a soccer coach, trainer, and scout. She has a ton of programs for younger kids. She is passionate about improving the skills of early players and making their experiences memorable. Coach Maria is also active in multiple podcasts and interviews.

Kronis Academy works with different levels of goalkeepers to help them reach their highest potential. They have players from the MLS and Youth National Teams. Goalkeepers get to train in a competitive environment and push themselves in keeper-tailored drills.
Game Ready Performance
One of the most important factors for making an impact on the field is fitness. Jackie Guerra created Game Ready Performance, located in Hermosa Beach, California. It provides an athletic facility for athletes to work on their fitness, recovery, and mentality.
Game Ready has worked with collegiate and pro-level soccer players as well as club soccer teams themselves. They pride themselves on creating a positive space that welcomes any type of athlete to make a difference in their fitness but also their mentality.
Coach Michael Holzer
Coach Michael, based in California, is a pro and celebrity coach. He has had experience of shadow coaching in the Premier League and the MLS. Michael holds camps and also consults soccer clubs. He walks his players through each touch and works on their finishing and impressive shots.
He’s worked with Gisele and Alyssa Thompson as well as other young rising stars.

BP6Elite specializes in helping players improve in every aspect of their game. They have worked with pro-level and college players but offer sessions for different skill levels. They focus on some of the smaller details of the game that will make a player stand out.

Football For Her was founded by Shawna Gordon, a former NWSL player, to give female or nonbinary identifying players a fun and safe space to play and be mentored. This is offered to any age and has a focus on giving girls new opportunities to explore their abilities.
