South Africaโ€™s yellow home kit keeps it classic with some green details and deeper yellow shapes, giving dimension to the simple look. The dark green line of the collar and only one of the sleeves shows a subtle asymmetry. The kit is functional, minimalist, and honors the country’s colors without being boring.

Netherlandโ€™s home kit is also very simple, being completely orange with some very small accents of black on the patch and the Nike logo. The orange seems multidimensional with the seemingly ribbed texture, and the crest patch of Netherlandโ€™s lion stands strong in black against the bright orange background.

The away kit is even more engaging, with a dark and bright blue design swirling across the jersey and a piercing red bordering the arms and emblem patch.

10. Sweden

Swedenโ€™s kits harmonize together in striking blue and yellow colors that contrast each other perfectly. The home kit is yellow with dark blue accents, and the away kit is blue with yellow accents. The design on the away kit symbolizes the icy blue waters around Sweden.

The home kit for New Zealand is incredibly unique for an all-black jersey. Most of the time, all black can be boring or safe in terms of kit fashion, but Nike put in some work to make sure it is neither of those things. It is detailed with a negative print of leaves which is also sported on their emblem patch. The away jersey is much simpler, putting more emphasis on the singular patch and small blue details.

8. Brazil

Brazil honored its iconic look with its home jersey in bright yellow and green colors. The away jersey attempted to stray away from the yellow with a cool-toned blue and green design. Leaves hug around the shoulder/neckline, and it elevates the whole look while giving it a more personal touch.

Germany decided to go classic with black and white in their home kit but go all in on an engaging and fun design on their away kits. The away jersey is inspired by the lush, forested landscape of Germany, and it is reflected by green branches and leaves displaying themselves across the front of the kit. Gold details cut into the green and display the iconic Adidas lines on the shoulders.

6. Argentina

Argentina also decided to stay classic with the Argentinian home jersey of light blue and white stripes but to have fun with the away kit. The away kit has dark tones of black and gray, while many bright tones of orange, green, and blue pierce through the jersey. This is indicative of Argentina’s brightly colored mountain ranges and bodies of rock.

5. The United States

The United States used a splatter design for their home uniform, and the mixture of big and little blue dots on the white background gives it an energetic and lively tone. It also goes very nicely with the small red accent from the USA badge. For their away kits, they have deviated from the traditional red, white, and blue shades of the American flag with an almost neon orange-red and very bright blue. The design is sleek and simple, but the bright complimentary colors really make the jersey pop.

Coming in #4 is Jamaica because both the home and away kits are fun, interesting, and easy to wear! The home kit is mostly yellow but also has a good portion of green that runs through it in vertical stripes. The ratio of yellow to green is perfect to represent the colors of Jamaica.

The away kit is a beautiful deep brown color with red and green accents around the collar. This look is 80s inspired and has the shade of brown that has seemed to take over fashion trends even outside of sports lately. This kit is fashionable on and off the field.

3. Portugal

Portugal is taking third place for their beautiful shades of green and red. The red is bright, warm, and slightly pinkish, which takes up almost all of the home kit. The away kit is cream with confetti-like shapes of green and red, which resembles terrazzo. Both jerseys are not trying too hard but just hard enough to look amazing and highlight these beautiful colors.

2. Japan

Japan’s home and away kits are very unique not only from other jerseys in the competition but from each other! The home jersey is blue with the shape of white origami shapes all over it. The design of the shapes makes it look as if the origami is glitching, which looks pretty cool for a shirt that is meant to be active and in motion.

The away shirt also is designed with care representing the many colors of a rising sun. When looking at the jersey, you can picture the vibrant sunrise in a pink sky with purple clouds above.

Coming in number one is Spain. Spainโ€™s home jersey is very classic in representing their countryโ€™s colors and getting the job done, but their away jersey takes the cake. It has the classic Adidas jersey format with blue shoulder stripes, but this is not a jersey as you have seen before. The jersey is boldly decorated with imprints of coral around the sides of it in shifting shades of purple, blue, and magenta. It is elegant and strong, much like the symbolism of coral reefs that are prominent in both Australasia and Southern Europe.
