The Biggest NCAA Transfers Of 2022
Since the transfer portal started, every college soccer offseason has had a bit of player movement, with this year being no different. With college soccer starting again shortly, we look at some of the most notable NCAA transfers of 2022. Kristina Lynch (Florida State to Notre Dame), F/MF

Lynch comes to Notre Dame as a graduate student after spending four years playing at Florida State. While with the Seminoles, she won two national championships (2018 and 2021). She appeared in 77 games for Florida State, tallying 12 career goals.
The forward is another attacking threat for a Fighting Irish team that is coming off a great season. They had a 14-6-2 record that included a run to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
Emma Hawkins (Central Arkansas to Oklahoma), F

Hawkins is a proven goalscorer that will be a big addition to this Sooners team. Through three seasons at Central Arkansas, she started all 47 games she appeared in, scoring 24 goals and tallying nine assists.
After just three seasons, she was fifth all-time in career goals at Central Arkansas.
Penelope Hocking (USC to Penn State), F

Hocking made a big name for herself with USC in the Pac-12. Last season she was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year after scoring 12 goals and six assists in 15 games played. The forward was also a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.
In each of her four seasons with the Trojans, she scored at least ten goals with a career total of 53. That number makes her the all-time leading scorer in USC history.
The forward was a potential draft option for the 2022 NWSL Draft before she decided to use her final year of eligibility at Penn State.
Maddy Ellsworth (Oregon State to Louisville), D

After redshirting her freshman year, Ellsworth became an important piece to the Oregon State backline. She appeared in 51 games, starting all but one for the Beavers, and anchored the defense. Ellsworth will be an experienced addition to a Louisville looking to work their way up the ACC rankings.

After losing Ellsworth, Oregon State brought in Duncan from Memphis, where she appeared in 57 games for the Tigers. During her senior season, she helped to lead a Memphis backline that tallied 12 shutouts on the season.
