Barcelona and Lyon will go head-to-head in the final at the end of May. There were a ton of goals in the NWSL, as usual, with Sophia Smith leading the charts in goals scored. Keep on reading for this week’s full recap.
High of the Weekend
Olivia Moultrie is the youngest player to make 50 regular-season appearances. She’s paved the way for many other talented young players to go pro, and it’s a big milestone to reach 50 professional appearances at only 18 years old.
Low of the Weekend

The support from the entire league has been great to see, and we’re right there, too, wishing her all the best through treatment.

San Diego’s passing leading up to Shaw’s goal is simply divine.
Rookie of the Weekend
Racing’s rookies are something else. Reilyn Turner and Emma Sears have been coming in off the bench for the past two games and causing absolute chaos. This time, a run from Sears down to the end line helped Turner score a beautiful backheel goal, bringing Louisville up 1-0 over Gotham FC.
Debut of the Weekend
Rose Lavelle made her debut for Gotham FC after overcoming injury. She subbed in at minute 74 for captain Lynn Williams and equalized the match seven minutes into stoppage time.
