This week’s list of the best women’s soccer goals features a unique combination of goals from three different leagues and the international break. There are at least one or two names you might recognize with their star power, but the rest highlight the hidden gems you have to see from players you might not have heard of before. So, let’s take a look at a wide variety of stunning finishes and long-distance strikes with another edition of Top 5 Goals from NCAA Soccer, D1 Arkema, Serie A Femminile, and the international break.
5. Lindsey Horan – Lyon
It's that girl @LindseyHoran getting l'OL going in Bordeaux!#WatchWithAta #D1Arkema pic.twitter.com/LUQc3ocLMh

Lindsey Horan’s return to France has gone swimmingly, and she’s back to showing off her quality on the European stage. Her technique is among the best in the world, and this goal is evidence of that. Notice how Horan timed the strike and let the ball bounce off the ground first instead of trying to one-time it into the net.
While falling over, Horan still manages to strike it perfectly off the bounce and keep her knee over the ball to find the far corner. The Great Horan strikes again and is a key piece for Lyon’s success this year.
4. Mathilde Bourdieu – Paris FC
MERVEILLEUX! Paris FC get level again with this superb strike from Mathilde Bourdieu.#WatchWithAta #D1Arkema pic.twitter.com/TH1mOVTDia

Paris FC, unfortunately, has to play second fiddle being in the same city as PSG. Yet they’re off to a great start this season and sit just two points behind their Parisian counterparts in the standings.
Mathilde Bourdieu is 23 years old and could earn an eventual call-up to the France national team if she keeps scoring goals like this. When her team needed an equalizer, Bourdieu provided it in style. Her awareness is top-notch because she receives the ball with her back to goal. Once she takes a touch, she turns and knows exactly where she is before firing the shot past the keeper.
Bourdieu will surely be part of France’s future first team one day.
3. Barbara Bonansea – Juventus
What a strike for Barbara Bonansea to net her 50th Serie A goal for Juventus!#WatchWithAta #SerieAFemminile pic.twitter.com/XCsQAQJaFf

Barbara Bonansea is one of Italy’s greatest scorers of all time and continues to be one the main leaders for Juventus in Serie A Femminile.
The 18-yard-box is her domain. Anything that comes into her area is likely getting put into the back of the net. This goal was something special, with a finessed chip finish from inside the 18-yard box. Normally, players don’t have enough room to execute the chip and get it to drop after clearing the keeper’s head.
It all happened in a split second. Bonansea quickly scanned around her and immediately chipped it into the far corner, an amazing finish from an amazing player.
2. Esther – Spain
What a TOUCH 😤

This was by far the most shocking goal of the week that was scored because it secured a 2-0 win for Spain over the United States. Esther saw her chance to put the USWNT away and did so impressively.
The ball comes at Esther with pace and spin, and she makes an incredible adjustment to strike with her left foot and redirect the ball to the far post.
Ether takes some off the ball with the touch from the inside of her boot, but the ball still has more than enough pace to fly into the net. This goal represents a warning shot to the USWNT. The rest of the world is catching up.
1. Kalli Bell – Mount St. Mary’s
World-class strike 🤌#NCAASoccer #SCTop10 x 🎥 @Mount_WSOCpic.twitter.com/WuSmMeB33v

The mid-majors deserve some love too! Kalli Bell of Mount St. Mary’s took advantage of the space given to her.
Manhattan College’s defense didn’t step up to Bell because they were all waiting for the free kick to come into the box. Instead, Bell laid it off to her teammate on the wing and then got it back with nothing but green grass in front of her.
Bell had the defense right where she wanted them and went for goal from long range. Still, Bell needed to get the power and accuracy on her shot right, and she did just that. Her strike from distance flew into the top corner and is well deserving of the top spot on this week’s list.
