UCF did what few teams were able to do to UCLA this season, and that’s pushed the Bruins to the brink of a loss.

Dayana Martin provided this moment of magic by pouncing on an opportunity and not wasting it. As soon as the ball came to her, she curled it beautifully into the far corner.

UCF was able to take UCLA to penalty kicks thanks to this goal, and while they came up just short, this goal will be a great way for UCF to look back on an amazing season.

Arsenal thought that maybe just for a moment, they had done enough to take the three points from Manchester United. The ball from Katie McCabe is otherworldly in how it curled around the United backline.

The run from Laura Wienroither was just as good, and her one-touch finish was even better as the ball didn’t touch the ground. This is the beautiful game at its best; what a cross and what a finish.

However, It wasn’t enough for Arsenal to come away with the three points as Arsenal held the lead on goal difference in the standings over Manchester United.

Korbin Albert is simply unplayable at the moment. No matter who it is, they just can’t stay in front of her. Santa Clara is no slouch, but Albert made them look average after she scored this goal. Albert’s feet are so incredibly quick. Watch how she goes right and then left in the blink of an eye.

Multiple defenders are forced to eat dust before Albert fires the shot. Because she’s constantly moving, even the goalie can’t anticipate where Albert is looking to shoot. Albert’s shot had venom on it, and the accuracy was spot on as well. The keeper had no chance.

Next up for Notre Dame is North Carolina. That’s going to be an incredible matchup.

2. Lisa Boattin – Juventus

Lisa Boattin doesn’t score very often as a defender, but she does it in style when she does. Juventus were trailing Parma in stoppage time and needed a goal which Boattin provided. The defender was left alone on the far side of the pitch and had more than enough room to line up the shot.

Boattin read where the keeper was lined up but still had to execute the strike. One touch followed by a wicked left-footed strike gave the keeper no chance, a wonderful strike to savor.

Memphis was just one penalty shootout away from pulling off another upset over an SEC team in Arkansas but came up just short. At least this team will never forget their run to the Sweet 16, taking out St. Louis and Mississippi State.

Mya Jones provided the spark that spurred Memphis on to a 4-0 win with the match’s second goal to deliver a huge blow in the second half. The awareness and vision is just absurd. To see where the goalie is and even attempt to drive a chip shot like this from that angle is insane. Not only that, but there are two defenders right in front of her, and if her shot is an inch to the left or right, it’s likely blocked, and nothing happens in this play. Instead, Jones makes perfect contact to take the top spot on this week’s list–a jaw-dropping finish for sure.
