Chelsea and Emma Hayes won the WSL title, with their whopping 6-0 win over Manchester United. This is Hayesโ fifth straight title with the Blues.ย
Now, with the WSL season over and Chelsea out of the Champions League running, Hayes’s duties with the English side have come to a close. For her, the next chapter will be coaching the USWNT!

Seattle truly cannot catch a break. They are having an uncharacteristically poor season, with a record of 2-1-7. Bethany Balcer was shown a red card in their latest loss against Orlando Pride, and Tziarra King was shown one a couple of weeks ago. The 2027 Womenโs World Cup will be hosted by Brazil! The vote was held on May 17, and where FIFA announced Brazil as the host, the first South American country to host the tournament. Itโs also the first country to host eight different FIFA competitions.ย
Brazil was going up against a joint bid from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, which promised a compact tournament in terms of location and travel. However, Brazil won out 119-78 in votes, noted for the quality of their stadiums.ย
