High of the Weekendย
The USYNT won the U17 CONCACAF Womenโs Championship after beating Mexico 4-0 in the final. The US outscored their opponents 32-2. Their performance in this tournament was dominant, showing how bright the future is for these players and the USWNT.ย
Low of the Weekend
The USWNT Gold Cup roster came out last week with a few big absences. Notably, Alex Morgan and Becky Sauerbrunn were not named to the roster. Instead, many of the younger players we saw last fall were called up, like Korbin Albert, Mia Fishel, and Jaedyn Shaw.ย
Although itโs exciting to see the young stars get their turn, this roster could signal the end of an era for the USWNT without Morgan and Sauerbrunn.ย

Goal of the Weekendย
MAYRA RAMรREZ GOLAZO ๐ฑ
The Colombian striker who joined Chelsea for a world record fee in January scored her first goal for the club, an 81st minute winner in the FA Cup 5th round. And what a goal it was: an absolutely sublime near post flick. ๐ฅ pic.twitter.com/BrB2tQN9dn

This backheel finish from Chelseaโs new signing, Mayra Ramirez, is something special. Itโs so nonchalant, Ramirez makes it look easy.ย

It is not just goals and screamers from Olivia Smith, but her superb assist in extra time locked in the cup Semi Final for Sporting.
