The USYNT is off to a tremendous start in the U-17 CONCACAF Championships. They beat Panama 13-0. Alex Pfeiffer and Kennedy Fuller both netted four goals each. The amount of talent on this team is special; a handful of the players are already playing professionally or have just recently signed pro contracts.ย

Up next for the USYNT is Canada. Theyโ€™ll be battling for the top spot in their group.ย

Low of the Weekend

The Athleticโ€™s new interview with Lindsey Horan came out last week, and letโ€™s just say many people were not thrilled with Horanโ€™s comments about the intellect of American soccer fans. โ€œAmerican soccer fans, most of them arenโ€™t smart,โ€ she said. โ€œThey donโ€™t know the game. They donโ€™t understand. (But) Itโ€™s getting better.โ€ย

News of the Weekendย

Bay FC is making some sneaky good moves! It seemed like the team was getting off to a slow start, but in the last two weeks, theyโ€™ve signed Asisat Oshoala, Jen Beattie, and Deyna Castellanos. All three are coming from across the pond in Europe: Oshoala played for Barcelona, Beattie for Arsenal, and Castellanos for Manchester City.ย
