The USWNT is gearing up for the Gold Cup, and they welcomed some guests to their training! Seeing Christen Press and Tobin Heath reunited with the team was amazing.ย

Gotham scrimmaged Florida State this past week and lost 3-2. But that’s not the low part. Gotham presumably asked FSU’s social media to take down the final score from their account. FSU, the NCAA Champion, is an elite team, and Gotham doesn’t need to try to hide the results of the match.

Mckenna Whitham, a 13-year-old soccer star, is making waves as the youngest soccer playerโ€“and youngest in any sportโ€“to sign an NIL deal with Nike. Whitham has experience playing for the U15 USYNT. On the club level, she plays with Slammers FC and trains with some of the most elite coaches in the game.ย

Over in England, Manchester City came out with a massive 1-0 over Chelsea, who are currently neck-a-neck in the standings. Khadija “Bunny” Shaw scored the goal just 14 minutes into the match, and Chelsea couldn’t catch up after that.ย

After announcing her retirement earlier this year, Sam Mewis will be the first inductee into the North Carolina Courage Ring of Honor. When she played with the Courage, she helped the team win three NWSL Shield wins and two NWSL Championships.ย
