More on Erica

Erica Suter (@fitsoccerqueen) is a remarkable woman specializing in speed and strength training for young female soccer players. After graduating with her MS in Exercise Science and Sports Performance Enhancement from John Hopkins University, where she also played soccer, Suter launched her mission to help young athletes become strong, resilient, and creative through exercise. All while inspiring them to love movement and sports–to not see these as obligations, but rather, enjoyable escapes from life’s stressors. Go to her website to learn more about her and her expertise.

Erica also has a podcast–Fit Soccer Queens, a blog, and has published a book, The Strong Female Athlete, which is an evidence-based and experience-based book for youth female athletes to improve speed, reduce injury, and increase strength. She gives a deep understanding of female athlete growth and maturation, anatomy and physiology, nutritional needs, menstrual cycle considerations, and performance training progressions. She’s been featured in numerous media outlets such as US News, Vitamin Shoppe, Women’s Health Magazine, and many more. We are so excited to bring her to our community and teach our Socceristas!
