She Believes Cup 2025
In February, the U.S. women’s soccer team will host the She Believes Cup tournament in locations across the U.S. The tournament sees four international teams in competition, including a semifinal match, a third-place match, and a final champion match. Along with the tournament hosts, the United States, Colombia, Japan, and Australia will appear during the February 20-27 tournament.
NWSL Regular Season
News of pre-season trades has already broken as teams prepare their rosters for the upcoming NWSL season. 2025 marks the first official full season of the enactment of the CBA, allowing free agency to players at the conclusion of their contract. As the countdown to March 14, the start of the new season begins, more updates to rosters are sure to be announced. Recently, Lynn Williams made a move from Gotham FC to Seattle Reign, and Jaedyn Shaw transitioned from the San Diego Wave to NC Courage. The shake-ups to NWSL teams will prove to revitalize fields this season.
NWSL Challenge Cup Match
To kick off the 2025 NWSL season, the annual NWSL challenge will take place on March 7th, one week before the regular season. The matchup will be between 2024 NWSL Championship winner, Orlando Pride, and runner-up, the Washington Spirit.
UEFA Women’s Nations League 2025
This year’s UEFA competition is the second season of the tournament. The 2025 results will determine competitors in the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers. Currently, Spain is the reigning champion, having gained this title in a 2024 matchup against France. Competition time for UEFA begins February 19.

Copa América Femenina
The South American national tournament will take place from July 12 to August 2 of this year. The 2025 year of the Copa America games, hosted in Ecuador, will be the tenth anniversary of the series. The ten teams of the South American Football Confederation will compete to hold the championship title. Fans can expect to see in the competition: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
