How To Watch Every Women’s Soccer League

The best way to support women’s sports is by watching women’s games and appreciating the hard work these top-tier athletes put in day in and day out. If you are not sure how to watch women’s soccer or want to know how you can watch the USWNTers who took their talents overseas, here is everything you need to know.

NWSL

The NWSL is growing and fighting for more air time on TV. The 2020 Challenge Cup final tallied a record 653,000 viewers on the CBS network and proved that fans are indeed interested in watching women’s professional soccer. You can stream all of your 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup matches on Paramount+ and Twitch (internationally).

The opening game, three other games, and the final will air on CBS Sports Network. Be sure to mark your calendars and get ready for two months’ worth of socceristas balling out and breaking streaming records once again. The 2021 Challenge Cup begins April 9th.

FA WSL

The FA WSL clinched a season-long partnership with Atalanta Media, where they will have their 2020-2021 games aired on NBC Sports. Fans can also view the top league in England on The FA Player. The FA Player also has player interviews, game highlights, full game videos, and live-streaming to view all of your favorite teams. The app is free to watch worldwide and shows all WSL games that are not aired on television.

W-League

The W-League games are streamed live on ESPN+ in the United States, and you can also live-stream matches on Youtube on the My Football Youtube channel. ABC TV and Fox Sports will also broadcast one match per round in the 2020-2021 Westfield W-League season and air the final series games.

Division 1 Feminine

Can’t forget about the top division in French football, Division 1 Feminine. These games may be a bit more challenging to find, but you can view matches on ESPN+, the ESPN App, and beIN Sports. You can also find live updates on Twitter when you follow the team accounts.

Liga MX Femenil

Fans can watch Liga MX Femenil on the TUDN app, live on TV on ESPN, Fox Sports, and the TV Azteca app. Catch some quality tiki-taka style of play by watching some of Mexico’s best professional women’s teams compete.

There are several platforms around the world where you can view matches. Unfortunately, some international games are not available for U.S. viewers, but you can always find live updates on Twitter or Instagram by following your favorite teams or leagues. There definitely needs to be more resources to access women’s soccer matches, but for now, these are the places you can find your favorite teams play, and maybe one day, every league will be on major networks.
