The Biggest NCAA Women’s Soccer NIL Deals this Year

Since the enactment of NIL deals in 2021, talent on the NCAA women’s soccer field has been noticed and signed by top brands like Nike and Adidas. In 2022, a handful of skilled collegiate soccer players accepted huge NIL deals, but the 2023 season has also had a stacked a roundup of accomplished athletes.

Stanford’s Mia Bhuta signed with Adidas at the end of May. Bhuta is a first-year student at Stanford. She has been with the US Youth National Team for much of her career and has been recognized as the first Indian-American soccer player for the US women’s soccer team in the FIFA World Cup. Since signing with Adidas, Bhuta has been a part of their back-to-school campaign.

UNC’s midfield/forward standout, Ally Sentnor, signed with Nike at the beginning of the year in January. The sophomore has been an impactful player for the U-20 Youth National Team and has already been promoting Nike. Additionally, she’s been doing amazing work to promote student-athletes voices and their stories through a deal with UNCUT, UNC’s platform for student-athletes.

Savy King is another UNC forward who has signed an NIL deal with Nike. She recently joined the Nike family this August, right before the start of her first season with UNC, in which she exemplified her fast skills and hunger for the goal.

Ally Lemos signed an NIL deal with Adidas last summer in June as she entered her second season with UCLA as a midfielder. She recently attended the ESPYs after a nomination for best goal from her first season with UCLA. Lemos has been an important aspect for both scoring and assisting. Lemos was also featured in Adidas’s back-to-school campaign.

At the end of 2022, Simone Jackson signed with Nike. The USC forward spent 2023 representing them in their athletic wear with another collegiate athlete, Reilyn Turner. Jackson has been a consistent star on the Youth National Team.
