5. Aitana Bonmati – FC Barcelona

Barcelona plays a romantic style of soccer that captivates fans from around the world. This goal is the quintessential Barcelona goal, where the ball doesn’t stay in one place. The ball will always be faster than any player, which is why constant movement on and off the ball makes Barcelona’s style impossible to stop.

Watch how the ball moves back and forth between Carolina Graham Hansen, Aitana Bonmati, and others. Barcelona’s fluidity in their movement and how they pass with each other makes it seem like the other team isn’t even there, and it’s just a clip from their training session. That’s what it looks like when the Ballon d’Or winning Aitana Bonmati can calmly slot the ball home after some incredible passing.

4. Caroline Graham Hansen – FC Barcelona

Barcelona has an embarrassment of riches within their team. Not only do you have to worry about Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati, but there’s Carolina Graham Hansen too. Three top ten players in the world on one team isn’t fair for Liga F. You’d think it’d be easy to double-cover Hansen and solve the problem, but that won’t work because someone else like Bonmati or Putellas will be wide open.

Instead, Hansen went all by herself, very few players are capable of getting to the spot they want to on the pitch whenever possible. CGH is one of those players. Notice how she glides past multiple defenders with ease before curling home the shot from long range. She’s too good for this level. CGH is the elite of the elite.

3. Beth Mead – Arsenal

Beth Mead came back from her ACL injury with a bang, and it must’ve been a welcome sight for Arsenal and England fans. Mead showed everything with her knee looked good after seeing the move she put on the opposing defender. That subtle hesitation move as if she’s going to cut back onto her right now must’ve put more than enough strain on the ACL. It was a gorgeous move and caused the defender to stumble over, giving Mead the space she needed to bend the ball into the far corner.

Welcome back, Beth Mead, the women’s game is much better with you in it.

2. Emina Ekic – Melbourne City

An Olimpico is a rare sight and needs to be appreciated whenever it happens. The same goes for Emina Ekic, who is currently with Melbourne City in Australia. The wind might have helped a little bit, but you can’t take anything away from Ekic’s strike.

The Racing Louisville midfielder has to be getting her club excited for this upcoming NWSL season. Ekic hasn’t been able to break into the starting lineup, but performances like these will help her do so for next season.

1. Maria Baragano – Huelva

Huelva didn’t have much to cheer about in their last match against Real Madrid, but Maria Baragano gave them a nice consolation goal to take home with them.

Maria Baragano must be at least 30 yards out with her body going away from the goal. The midfielder needed to make sure she got her hips around before striking the ball, and the result was a perfect connection. The keeper never would’ve saved it even if she was off her line with how the ball hit the crossbar and went in.

A dream goal for Maria Baragano, who takes the top spot in this week’s list.
