The NWSL might be over, but the NCAA Tournament and European soccer have more than made up for it over this past week. There were some incredible matches, upsets, and goals to celebrate this week. At GSN, you won’t see anyone with a passion for goals like we have. The list is down to the best of the best. Here are the best goals from the NCAA Tournament and Barclays Women’s Super League.
5. Eleanor Dale – Nebraska Cornhuskers

Nebraska’s dream season continued as they defeated the upset-minded UC Irvine and ended their Cinderella run 4-0. Eleanor Dale hit the 20-goal plateau with ease and broke the record with the most goals in a season for Nebraska with 28. The Cornhuskers have relied on her to score goals, and Dale has come through every time.
Her teammate provided a great cross into the box, but it was Dale who managed to find the net with one touch. Sliding onto the ball, while it’s in the air and exhibiting that much control shows why Eleanor Dale has been in such great form this season. Thanks to Dale and company, Nebraska is heading to the Elite Eight.
4. Emily Gaebe – St. Louis Bilikens

St. Louis almost overcame a huge deficit and returned from 2-0 down to take a 3-2 lead over Penn State. Emily Gaebe helped on the comeback trail with this beautiful free-kick goal. No help was needed for Gaebe as she lined up this free kick. The junior forward always knew she was going for goal. From the moment she hit it, she must’ve known it would have a chance to go in. The striker put her foot through it, and the ball flew into the top corner.
It almost helped St. Louis pull off the upset, and even though Penn State came back, this game was an instant classic with the back and forth from both teams.
3. Brecken Mozingo – BYU Cougars
Brecken Mozingo does it AGAIN 🤯🔥#NCAASoccer x 🎥 ESPN+ / @byusoccer_w pic.twitter.com/VicmfzFchZ

BYU was trailing Michigan State in a tough Sweet 16 matchup, but BYU’s best player wasn’t going to let the Cougars down.
The striker picked up the ball in space and took it upon herself to help the team get a big win. All it took was one mistake for Mozingo to pounce. Once she stole the ball, she had her sights on goal with no one close enough to stop her. Mozingo got to the spot that she wanted at the top of the box and knew she could stick the ball in the top corner. From the moment the ball left her foot, it was destined for the back of the net.
Michigan State couldn’t recover from this, as Brecken Mozingo would deal the knockout blow for BYU.
2. Lisa Evans – West Ham

West Ham versus Aston Villa might not have been the most advertised game of the week, with the Manchester Derby and Liverpool against Chelsea ongoing. Yet, West Ham and Aston Villa might have been the most exciting back-and-forth in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Lisa Evans’ body shape had her going away from the goal, which made the degree of difficulty higher. Evans had to get her hips around the ball while falling away, and still, her strike was perfect. The ball arrowed right into the top corner for a jaw-dropping finish, a splendid goal from Lisa Evans.
1. Rachel Daly – Aston Villa
Still not over this @RachelDaly3 goal 😅#BarclaysWSL @AVWFCOfficial pic.twitter.com/L9gzPfYQHs

It doesn’t matter which team she’s playing for or what country she’s in. Rachel Daly can score from anywhere, any time, and any place.
After Lisa Evans had just tied the game ten minutes before, Daly would provide the winner in style. Daly is a true two-footed finisher. She’s proven she can score with both feet, and this goal is no different. Once the ball dropped in front of her, we could all see that Daly had a lot to do. She got bumped by an opposing defender and still had the balance and body control to get her left foot through the ball with her knee over it on the strike.
This is a world-class finish from a world-class player in Rachel Daly.
