The equal pay movement has been a long-fought battle for the U.S. Women’s National Team and women’s soccer in general. This week, it took a huge step in the right direction when the USWNT announced that they had agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement that would guarantee them equal pay with the USMNT. It’s amazing to see the USWNT players finally getting what they deserve, and hopefully, we will see pay increases in women’s soccer as a whole.
