Top Girls Soccer Camps Run by Players
Summer time for Socceristas means heading to soccer camp! Girls soccer camps used to be hard to find, but thankfully there are now a lot more great options! Over the long summer, camp is the BEST place to keep up your stamina, technical skills, and get outside during the beautiful warm months! What puts the icing on the cake of a summer full of soccer, is training with some of the best players to ever play the game. We rounded up a few camps and clinics going on this summer led by our very favorite women players.
Berkshire Soccer Academy for Girls
This academy invited current and former US Women’s National team members to coach and inspire young players each year. While they haven’t announced the star player that will be leading this year’s camp, they have quite the history to back them up. In the past they’ve had Brandi Chastain, Cindy Parlow, Heather O’Reilly, Kate Sobrero Markgraf, Kristine Lilly, and Mia Hamm to just name a few. This is your chance to not only train with soccer stars, but LEGENDS!
Seattle Reign Pro Experience Camps
At the Pro Experience Camps, young Socceristas are given the total professional treatment. Every training session is led by Reign FC technical staff with head coach Vlatko Andonovski and assistant coach Milan Ivanovic. Plus, you’re able to have an in-depth Q&A session with a Reign FC player and a meet-and-greet with the entire team. And if that wasn’t cool or life-changing enough, you’ll also have access to a Reign FC training session with the team! Not only are you being taught by the pros, you’ll be playing alongside them.
At this ProCamp, Julie Ertz will give hands-on instruction on the fundamental soccer skills with fun contests and skills stations. Socceristas will be placed in groups based on age so that everyone is ensured time with Julie. Plus, every camper will receive a signed souvenir, a camp team photo with Julie, a ProCamp t-shirt, and a free ticket to a match!
During this one-day camp, Tobin Heath gives thorough hands-on teaching with fun, high-energy games in a positive environment! Again, players will be broken off into groups based on age so that Tobin is able to give attention to each and every player. Each camper also receives an autographed souvenir, a camp team photo with Tobin, a limited-edition Tobin Heath ProCamp t-shirt, and a Nike soccer ball.
At this one-of-a-kind camp experience, young Socceristas are invited to spend time on the pitch with some of our favorite professional players. This camp was designed for players who are ready to take their game to the next level. The camp focuses on technical and tactical elements on the field, as well as time in the classroom to break down specific plays. The all-star team that leads this amazing camp is Abby Wambach, Shannon Boxx, and Christie Rampone. Come on, this is the camp of a lifetime!
